Gainesville Elementary School

Preschool - 6th Grade

2014 - 2015 MAP Results

The Gainesville R-V School District has received all finalized Individual Score Reports (ISRs) for the students taking Grade-Level Assessments in the Spring of 2015. The MAP Grade-Level Assessments include assessments in the subject areas of Communication Arts (grades 3-8), Mathematics (grades 3-8), and Science (grades 5 and 8). MAP Grade-Level Assessments provide important information that contributes to decisions concerning individual students, groups of students, and educational programs.

Last year’s 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will receive their ISRs in a mailing sent home to parents within the next week or two. Last year’s students, grades 3-5, will receive their scores during the elementary “Meet & Greet” night on Thursday, August 13, from 4:30—6:00 pm. If parents are unable to attend the “Meet & Greet” event, scores will also be available for pick-up during the fall Parent/Teacher Conference.

Gainesville First Graders  Enjoying A Little

Dr. Suess

First and Second Grade:

First and Second Grades are practicing addition and subtraction facts. They complete a Daily One Minute Math Drill on addition and subtraction facts.  The students have one minute to complete each daily worksheet.  If they do not miss any, they get to move on down the racetrack or blast off in their spaceships.  Ask your child about this!  They are getting very good at it.

Winners of Math Bee
